Are you trying to adjust to the demands of work or school, but it feels like things keep getting in the way? Maybe you’re trying to move on from difficulties in your past, but big feelings keep coming up and you’re unsure of what to do with them. I work with those who are trying to heal parts of themselves that have been impacted by the relationships around them. Many of my clients are teens and adults who are experiencing low mood, difficult family dynamics, and are trying to heal from trauma. We can take time to gently sort through your experiences while finding practical strategies that allow you to get back to what feels like you.
I offer a holistic and person-centred approach to your wellness journey. We collaboratively work together to figure out what changes you want to make and how to make them. I draw from ACT, CBT, DBT, and trauma informed approaches.

From the age of 3, my life has revolved around music. With a passion for creating and helping others, I completed my Bachelors of Music Therapy at Wilfrid Laurier University with a minor in Psychology in 2018.
After working as a music therapist for a few years, I found myself drawn to mental health work within my music therapy caseload. This prompted me to pursue my Masters in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University in 2020.

One of the most significant things to me in clinical work is the therapeutic relationship. Getting to know you and your goals is the most important part of our time together, and I look forward to building our sessions together.
I have diverse and extensive clinical experience as a music therapist, and look forward to building effective relationships within the counselling space, as well. In my work, I draw on Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), ACT, and mindfulness interventions to best serve the client.
