My name is Natalie Reis and I am an accredited music therapist and a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying).
Perhaps you are someone who is feeling unbalanced and hoping to better understand what allows you to feel aligned. Maybe you are experiencing great transition and looking for stability within yourself. Holding onto your inner self in these circumstances can be difficult, but knowing there may be someone to walk alongside you during these difficult moments may help contribute to the courage to change. Together, we can identify those building blocks you already possess to continue creating the life you want to lead.
I offer a holistic and person-centred approach to your wellness journey. No matter what your goals may be, we can reach them using music and other modalities within a counselling session. Whether we are talking, or creating, we can navigate those challenges related to anxiety, self-esteem, and depression.

From the age of 3, my life has revolved around music. With a passion for creating and helping others, I completed my Bachelors of Music Therapy at Wilfrid Laurier University with a minor in Psychology in 2018.
After working as a music therapist for a few years, I found myself drawn to mental health work within my music therapy caseload. This prompted me to pursue my Masters in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University in 2020.

One of the most significant things to me in clinical work is the therapeutic relationship. Getting to know you and your goals is the most important part of our time together, and I look forward to building our sessions together.
I have diverse and extensive clinical experience as a music therapist, and look forward to building effective relationships within the counselling space, as well. In my work, I draw on Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), ACT, and mindfulness interventions to best serve the client.
