What Makes Kathleen the Right Fit for You

Kathleen has almost 8 years of clinical experience, working in both private practice and hospital settings. She has experience providing education and training to other therapists in both of these settings. Kathleen meets the CPRO requirements for supervision, as well as being a certified CAMT supervisor. Kathleen works with Registered Psychotherapists, Qualifying Registered Psychotherapists, students, and Accredited Music Therapists.

How Kathleen’s Experience Helps You

In her own therapy practice, Kathleen works with youth and adults experiencing issues range of issues including anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma. She has a special interest in working with people pleasing, boundary issues, and relational trauma. She also has significant experience with crisis care.

She combines her music therapy training and verbal counselling training in modalities such as ACT, DBT, and CBT, providing both traditional talk therapy and music therapy. Her values are rooted in humanism, working to level power dynamics and see the client as the expert in their own life.

Within her work at Grand River Hospital and her private practice, Kathleen has provided both single session, short-term, and long-term therapy.

Offering Individual, Dyadic, and Group Supervision

Supervision with Kathleen is collaborative and tailored to best fit your needs. She works to create a space in which you feel supported, respected, and challenged. Sessions are driven by what clinical issues are most important to you, including case consultations, psycho-education, reflexive work, and, competency building.

Kathleen is passionate about working with therapists interested in expanding their use of third wave behavioural models, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. Kathleen is an integrative therapist and supervisor, believing in the importance of combining a trauma-informed bottom up approach with these models.

She also works with music therapists interested in expanding their verbal psychotherapy practice.

Individual 50 minute session: $150
Dyadic 50 minute session: $75 per person
Initial Phone Consultation: First 15 minutes is free

Group Clinical Supervision
Our groups run monthly at the times listed below.
Group Session Fees: $75

Monthly Group Supervision for RPs or RP(Qualifying)
Mondays from 5:00pm - 6:50pm
Tuesdays from 10:00am - 11:50am
