Our clinic space is located in Guelph, Ontario, near the University of Guelph. It is fully equipped for psychotherapy and music therapy work, with a waiting room, kitchen, and co-working area.

Position Details
Student Therapists
Are you a motivated counselling student, interested in learning more about private practice? We accept both psychotherapy and music therapy students, to work as part of our affordable therapy program. We offer on-site supervision for our students with supervisors approved by the CRPO, CAMT, and Yorkville University.
We require our psychotherapy students to have RP (Qualifying) status or to be pursuing registration with the CRPO. Previous experience in a related field would be an asset. People who enjoy flexibility, are self-motivated, and work well independently thrive in this position.
We work with Yorkville, Wilfrid Laurier University, University of Toronto, and University of Guelph.
We are currently accepting students for a January start.
Trauma/EMDR Psychotherapist (RP/RSW) - Independent Contractor
KS Therapy Services is seeking a psychotherapist with a specialization in trauma work to join our growing team. The ideal candidate’s scope of practice will include EMDR, Brainspotting, or another trauma focused modality, with additional training beyond their graduate degree.
KSTS is asking for a minimum 8 hour/week commitment, with flexibility to build your caseload and schedule. There are many opportunities for growth and building the caseload that works best for you.
We are looking for a self-motivated therapist who is comfortable working in a private practice setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working in mental health care, providing trauma therapy; previous experience in private practice would be an asset.
Responsibilities:
Know current laws and ethics regarding practice of psychotherapy.
Maintain professional liability insurance and registration with a regulatory college (RSW or RP)
Provide therapy in a hybrid model, working virtually and in-person in Guelph, Ontario.
Manage own caseload, including scheduling and basic case management.
KSTS provides a practice management software, group supervision, and all marketing as part of the position. We are targeting a Fall (late September, early October start).

Pay: Starting at $84.00 per hour
