Where we are Located
Our clinic space is located in Guelph, Ontario, near the University of Guelph. It is fully equipped for psychotherapy and music therapy work, with a waiting room and small kitchenette.

Position Details
Student Therapists
Are you a motivated counselling student, interested in learning more about private practice? We accept both psychotherapy and music therapy students, to work as part of our affordable therapy program. We offer on-site supervision for our students with supervisors approved by the CRPO, CAMT, and Yorkville University.
We require our psychotherapy students to have RP (Qualifying) status. Previous experience in a related field would be an asset. People who enjoy flexibility, are self-motivated, and work well independently thrive in this position.
We are currently accepting students for a September start.
Cross-Trained Music Therapist & Psychotherapist (RP or RSW)
Independent Contractor
KS Therapy Services is seeking a cross-trained music therapist & psychotherapist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate’s scope of practice will include working with children and teens. Providing family therapy and parenting support would be an asset.
KSTS is asking for a minimum 8 hour/week commitment, with flexibility to build your caseload and schedule. There are many opportunities for growth and building the caseload that works best for you.
We are looking for a self-motivated therapist who is comfortable working in a private practice setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working in mental health care; previous experience in private practice would be an asset.
Responsibilities:
Know and abide by current laws and ethics regarding practice of psychotherapy.
Maintain professional liability insurance and registration with a regulatory college (RSW or RP)
Be certified with the Canadian Association of Music Therapy (MTA).
Provide therapy in a hybrid model, working virtually and in-person in Guelph, Ontario.
Manage own caseload, including scheduling and basic case management.
KSTS provides a practice management software, group supervision, and marketing as part of the position. Pay starts at $78/session.
