  • If you are here, perhaps you are looking for support in navigating life's roadblocks, seemingly big or small. I believe that everyone has the strengths and resources to create change and healing in their own life.

I specialize in supporting people who are experiencing issues related to anxiety and complex trauma. Many of my clients are working on things like their people-pleasing, perfectionism, or how they can improve their relationship with themselves and others. I have a special interest in helping people navigate complex family dynamics.

My own lived experiences with mental health issues have shaped who I am as a therapist. Many of my own first hand experiences with therapy and how it can help have informed how I want to show up for the people I work with.

  • For as long as I can remember, music has been an integral part of my life. I became a music therapist and psychotherapist for many different reasons, one being that I truly believe that through creativity we are able to connect with our ability to create meaningful change. This belief has been reaffirmed time and time again both in my personal life and clinical work.

I have had the privilege of facilitating moments of connection, realization, and ultimately growth, using music as an agent of change.

I am fascinated by how our brain is wired to receive, connect with, and create music!

Outside of being a therapist, I am a proud mama, love playing the piano and singing, and spending time with family (including my very cute dog named Hal).

  • One of the most important things to me in therapy is collaboration! I am a big believer that each of us brings our own set of knowledge and expertise that we can use together. I work to create a non-judgemental and empathetic space to navigate whatever you might be going through.

As both a Registered Psychotherapist and Accredited Music Therapist, we can use words, music, or a combination of both in our sessions. I often draw on person-centred therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, DBT, and CBT approaches in my work. I am happy to chat more about what this means and looks like in sessions.

Before making the move to private practice, I worked in acute mental health care. I believe this has helped me learn how to meet people in their biggest storms with compassion and care (and no panic!).
