Counsellor, Intern Therapist: MEd (In Progress)

Accepting New Clients

  • If you are on this page, you may feel alone or like your voice is unheard by those around you. Maybe you are at a crossroads in your life or looking to make a change. I believe we all have a voice worth hearing and a story worth telling, and I am here to support you as you work toward your goals, however big or small.

First and foremost, I am committed to providing a validating space for you to express yourself and be heard. Because each of us is unique in our strengths and struggles, I believe in person-centred and intersectional practice drawing from narrative therapy, relational-cultural theory, and mindfulness. Feel free to ask me what that actually looks like in practice in our no strings attached free consultation.

    • Master of Education in Counselling Psychology (In Progress)

    • Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology (2023)

  • As a queer and trans Indian individual who grew up in Texas, I understand what it can be like to feel invisible and unheard by the people around you. I have always been drawn to psychology because it studies human beings and why we are the way we are. Through my undergraduate degree and crisis response work with THRIVE Lifeline, I realized that I wanted to support people in a helping position, leading me to start my Master of Education in Counselling. I look forward to completing my practicum and program requirements with KS Therapy Services in 2025 so that I can continue to help people find their voices, express themselves, form connections, and reach their goals.

  • The foundation of a good therapeutic relationship is collaboration and non-judgment. I want our space to be one where we can build sessions together that support you and your goals.

My therapeutic base is in narrative therapy and relational-cultural theory. I believe that you are the expert on your own life and deserve to have narratives about yourself that are empowering. Moreover, I see connection and relationships as fundamental to feeling secure and fulfilled. We can also incorporate mindfulness techniques if you find them helpful, and while I am not a music therapist, we can absolutely engage with music as part of our sessions.
